Type of proxy IP

Proxy IP is usually used to hide one's own IP, or as an intermediate springboard to access Internet services. For example, if sometimes the system needs to identify us as a user in a specific region, we need to configure our own IP address to be the IP of that specific region.

According to the dimension of anonymity, proxy IP addresses can be divided into three types: high-anonymity proxy IP, ordinary anonymous proxy IP, and transparent proxy IP.

High anonymity proxy IP: Completely hide your real IP address, so the other party doesn’t know you are using a proxy.

Anonymous proxy IP: Hides the real IP address, so the other party knows that you are using a proxy.

Transparent proxy IP: The other party knows that you use a proxy IP and knows your real IP proxy.

For some Amazon sellers who need to open multiple stores, they usually use a fingerprint browser to configure multi-agent IPs, or to save trouble, they will directly pull several different network cable IPs in the company.

According to classification such as timeliness, IP attributes, types, protocols, etc., proxy IP can be roughly divided into the following 6 types:

(1) Data center agent

(2) Static real-person residential agent

(3) Dynamic real-person residential agent

(4) Mobile phone 3G/4G/5G/LTE agent

(5) IPv6 proxy

(6) Rotating server agent

The following is their detailed introduction

Data center agent: It is usually the IP provided by the computer room of each hosting company, also called the computer room IP. The VPS we usually buy and the IP obtained from the services built based on the VPS are usually this kind of IP.

Static Live Residential Proxy: An IP assigned to a residential user by the operator in the target country.

Dynamic live residential proxy: The operator in the target country assigns an IP to a residential user. The IP address usually changes every time you dial. In the past, the telecommunications system used when I was studying at school or at home was like this. Every time I dialed up (when the router disconnected and reconnected), the IP would change.

Mobile phone 3G/4G/5G/LTE proxy: The IP address of the mobile phone device after it is connected to the Internet, usually from the mobile phone network, and the source is the base station near the mobile phone.

IPv6 proxy: A proxy that appears to meet the insufficient use of IPv4. It is not yet a mainstream proxy.

Rotating server proxy: The IP address changes every once in a while. This type of rotating proxy is usually used in large quantities of proxy resources required by crawlers and the like.
